Muckhart Nature Trail Project

You may be aware that Peter, and a team of community volunteers, are currently working to support the Muckhart Community Plan objective to improve the attractiveness of Muckhart in preparation for an entry into the “Beautiful Scotland” competition… and they need your help !!

To fund the proposed Muckhart Nature Trail project, which will engage our school children and improve the biodiversity, natural and wildlife habitats along the path from Muckhart to the primary school, we need to gain as many votes as we can for this project via the Calor Rural Community Fund website.

All you need to do is click on the following link which will take you to the Calor Rural Community Fund web page. Then type Muckhart in the Search Box and click Go. Scroll down a bit and click View project and vote (you’ll need to register your email address before voting).

And please excuse the reference to ‘Stirlingshire’ – Clackmannanshire doesn’t exist on the Calor list !!

Every vote counts, so, once you’ve voted, please share this with your family, friends, neighbours, organisations and groups, work colleagues, indeed, anyone you know !!

Many thanks, indeed, in advance, for your support.

Business Support Survey

Clackmannanshire and Stirling’s Employer Engagement Forum have launched a survey to help identify support needs and skill gaps for local businesses operating in the Stirling and Clackmannanshire area. This will help direct people to the support they need, and identify where the support needs are, so that support organisations can better meet those needs.

The survey should only take about 5 minutes to complete and is appropriate for all sizes of business, including sole traders.

The following link will take you to the survey:

Residents aim to protect Red Squirrels

Local residents along Golf Course Road are planning to display ‘Slow Down’ roads signs in an attempt to make the area safer for the local red squirrel population. Should you be driving along this road, MCC and our community would be grateful if you would take heed of these signs and slow down to help protect our red squirrels.

Many thanks, in advance !!
