REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

I hope you are all ready for remembrance Sunday! You will need to be at the Squadron for 0830 and we normally finish between 1200 and 1230. Please be in your wedgwood blue uniform with poppy, tie and jumper. If you are not yet in uniform, then please come in smart clothing (white shirt, dark coloured jumper and dark trousers) or come in your school uniform. We have not had confirmation from anyone that they are not coming so everyone must be in attendance. Because of the importance of the occasion this is one of a few events that everyone must attend unless cadets are away. I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

Flights have been updated for April 2016. Take a look on OMS or down at the squadron to see if your flight has changed!

Summer Camps

We have several camps coming up over the summer, all with a full week's experience of life on an RAF station. Total cost: £70! Speak to staff or apply for a place on OMS by 7th April as they are limited!

Easter Swynnerton Money

We now require the rest of the money for Easter Swynnerton. Please bring in your remaining £30 as soon as possible.

Swynnerton Leadership Course

Staffordshire Wing's leadership course has announced their selection dates (16-17 January 2016). Speak to a member of staff before 17 December 2015 if you would like to go on one of the toughest courses in the ACO!

Paragliding 21-27 Feb 2016

There is a course (during term time) for a week of paragliding in Abergavenny - deadline for applications by 17 December 2015. Must be at least 16 years old and leading cadet!

Wing Shoot 19 December 2015

For all previously trained No. 8 or L98 firers - WHTs are possible for cadets whose qualifications have expired. Deadline 10 December to apply!
