About Holly Williams Behaviour
Holly Williams Behaviour is a fully insured, individually run canine behaviour business. I set up the business with a deep understanding of how important a dog is to every guardian and family, and with the main goal being to help dogs and their guardians overcome any challenges that they are facing. I am committed to helping clients resolve dog behaviour issues, whilst also improving their welfare. I strive to do this in two ways; providing positive reinforcement behaviour solutions through private training sessions, and educating dog guardians on factual, evidence-based information that will improve relationships and day to day life for your dog.
My methods are focused around humane, force-free, positive reinforcement training. Methods that use fear, pain or outdated approaches result in behavioural repercussions. I believe that all my clients deserve transparency and honesty. I will always make you aware of the techniques and equipment that we will or will not use. I strongly feel that any training that is undertaken in order to change your dog’s behaviour, usually means changing your own behaviour, and that training should always be to the benefit of everyone involved, including your dog.
I have 8 years of experience in the canine behaviour and welfare field. However, I know that my studying and learning will never stop, as I am passionate about continuing my education in order to stay up to date with the latest literature, studies and findings in my field, as well as with current animal welfare standards. This enables me to provide my clients with the most current behavioural science methods and solutions.
I also hold qualifications in both canine and human first aid, so you can be assured that you and your dog are in safe, prepared hands.
For any new client, the first session is always a consultation/observation session. This can be done over the phone, via video call or in person. This session starts the process by allowing me to obtain a thorough background and understanding of you, your dog and your situation. It allows me to do an initial behaviour analysis, which enables me to start creating a specifically tailored behavioural training plan, with the aim of by the sessions conclusion to begin helping you implement it.
