Terms & Conditions

  • These terms and conditions are between “Holly Williams Behaviour” and the “Customer”. All dealings between Holly Williams Behaviour and the Customer shall be governed by these terms and conditions.
  • Any dialogue between Holly Williams Behaviour and the Customer in regards to obtaining booking dates and times will not be secure until these terms and conditions have been read and accepted, and Holly Williams Behaviour has received confirmation of this.
  • All clients must complete an initial consultation session prior to booking any individual or block book training sessions.
  • All sessions will last 1 hour, this includes the initial discussion and concluding chat of each session.
  • If you are late for a session, you will unfortunately lose that time from your session. Sessions are organised back-to-back with allotted commuting times in between.
  • If you need to cancel or rearrange a booked session, please give me as much notice as possible. I reserve the right to charge any cancellations within less than 48 hours notice. If it is an individual session, you will still be charged for the session. If it is a block book, you will lose that session out of your block.
  • Block bookings must be paid for in full, up front, before the first session of the block commences.
  • Please ensure that your dog(s) don’t eat 2 hours (minimum) before and after sessions. This helps to avoid the risk of bloat and sickness.
  • I must be notified as to whether your dog has any health conditions. In some cases, I may require a consent form/letter from your veterinarian before training sessions can commence.
  • In general, if your dog is unwell, we cannot carry out the session. Also, dogs who have injuries, certain health conditions, and who are still recovering from surgery may not be able to attend sessions.
  • You must inform me about any concerning behaviour that you dog has displayed, no matter how long ago. The more history that I have about your dog the better. You must inform me if you dog has a history of nervousness, reactivity, biting, or any other unsociable behaviour. This of course does not preclude you from session with me, it is simply to ensure the safety of everyone involved, whilst allowing me to work with your dog in the most comfortable way for them.
  • All dogs must wear a collar and identification tag when outside. The tag must have their owner’s surname, address, postcode and contact number(s) on. This is a requirement under The Control of Dogs Order, 1992.
  • All dogs must be microchipped with their owner’s up to date contact details. This has been the law since the 6th of April 2016.
  • All dogs are the responsibility of their owners at all times.
  • Any children present during sessions are at all times the responsibility of the adult member(s) of the family who is/are present for the session.
  • Any decisions made and any actions carried out against training advice are the responsibility of the owners. Holly Williams Behaviour shall not be liable for any mistakes made or incorrect training done by any person arising from the Customer’s failure to follow the guidelines and training set out by Holly Williams during sessions (over phone, video or in-person), or any publications provided or recommended.
  • It is understood that owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s).
  • It is understood that photographs and videos may be taken of dogs during their training sessions, and that these may be put on the business’ social media handles.
  • I will only ever cancel a session due to weather conditions if they are deemed unsafe for you or your dog. A light drizzle of rain won’t affect sessions. Some examples of unsafe weather conditions are; extreme wind, rain, hail, snow, heat or cold. If a session is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions, you will not be charged for the session/lose the session out of your block.
  • Albeit rare, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, Holly Williams Behaviour reserves the right to cancel and/or amend session dates, times and locations. Every effort will be made to give the Customer as much notice as possible, and offer a reasonable alternative. If this is not satisfactory, Holly Williams Behaviour shall refund the Customer.
  • Interest on overdue invoices may be charged (at the discretion of Holly Williams Behaviour) in accordance with The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act, 1998, until the date of payment and the Customer agrees to pay any reasonable expenses (not limited to expenses fixed by Court) incurred by Holly Williams Behaviour in pursuing any outstanding debt or debts due from the Customer.
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
